re: #55 FemNaziBitch

Back about oh, maybe 20 years ago, I used to drink coffee all through the day. I’d go to bed around midnight or so, get up around 6 to go to work. Then I did a stint teaching in South Africa. No coffee readily available, and tea wasn’t doing the trick. But I slept better at night. So ever since I just have one cup in the morning and maybe one in the afternoon, or two if I need a wake-up jolt.

If I drink coffee after 7 pm, I can’t sleep until 2 am. I’ll lie in bed, but can’t go to sleep. I admire anyone who can drink coffee after dinner and not be affected by the caffeine.

Although, I have found that some whiskey before bed counteracts the coffee’s effect. Then, I have trouble waking up. I just can’t win.
