OK, I fast-forwarded through the Shroud episode and it’s not 100% terrible. More like only 85%. They made no serious attempt to deny the carbon dating by usual means (“wrong cloth”, “microbial coating” and BS like that), but they ended the episode with the Sudarium of Oviedo to cast doubt on the dating, and that’s such BS because the Sudarium is so problematic in itself. Of course, no skeptics were invited, certainly not Joe Nickell, who has dealt with the Shroud, the Sudarium and other “relics” in his numerous books.
