7,000?!? I graduated high school in 2000 and there were maybe a thousand students in the same county.

My graduating class had seventeen in 1978. I haz oldz.

My wife the former Libertarian has expressed interest in the organisation Bugles Across America. (The organisation provides buglers and trumpet players to play “Taps” for veterans and active duty at the request of families, due to the shortage of military buglers.)

On expressing that desire, my brother-in-law mailed her his bugle.

Went into town today: someone set up at one of the motels a “Trump gear store” where you can get everything Trump (except a refund from his university). They’ve taken over a third of the parking lot and the closed restaurant attached to the building for the store.

That is in a town of 1,100 people. I really don’t see that as a successful money-raiser for the Trump campaign (though this could be someone grifting off his name, I didn’t check).

Nate Silver has this district (NE3) as the most likely to vote for Mr. Trump.
