Free public education IS LITERALLY WHAT MADE AMERICA GREAT. Destroying this one cornerstone of our culture will bring down everything.

I would be more fearful about this if DeVos had a lengthy career behind her name a la Jeff Sessions. Don’t get me wrong; I’m alarmed, but her rank incompetence on display makes whatever damage she reeks** salvageable, albeit taking multiple successive administrations to undo the damage. And that’s the painful rub.

**And if California (and/or other blue states) challenges her actions in court with Eric Holder on retainer, that slows down her activity more so.
