Agreed. Negotiating a trade deal is a monumental task that can be long and drawn out. Doing this for each nation is impractical and stupid (but stupid is a redundant term when talking about this administration). Trump wants to do this with each Pacific rim nation but he is too dim to realize the overall cost will be so much higher than taking part in the TPP.
