There is no need for a Mueller investigation: there are enough blatant and egregious examples of violations of the emoluments clause, conflict of interest and obstruction of justice that they could initiate proceedings at any time if the will were there.

Mueller is trying to present a case so clear-cut that they simply cannot ignore it, which is why they are going out of their way to discredit him and the entire FBI well in advance.

I’m pretty sure Congress knows the jig is up with Trump & Co. It’s just a matter of time before Mueller drops the bomb and makes it impossible for them to ignore what they are all covering up. [I’m speaking of the GOP here, just to be clear.] Likely, some Congress-critters will be implicated as well, and if I were they, I’d be angling for a way out of prosecution. But, people like Nunes and Rohrabacher seem oblivious to their precarious situations.
