yunno, one of the things that helped make the reforms starting in the 60’s possible in women’s, gay and minority rights was the Warren Court, a legacy of 20 years of Democratic rule.

We are looking down the barrel of a dark, dark, era in American jurisdiction thanks to the outcome of the 2016 election.

Which makes the 2020 election that much more important. The GOP Senate is looking at a map which was as bad as ours in 2018, and during a presidential election.

Even if Trump was reëlected (insert endless scream), a Democratic-majority Senate would effectively end the push for right-wing judges.
