I’m lucky in that I was never in bad relationship with a bad person. I was crushed when my first wife said ‘I love you but I’m not in love with you.’ Sorta ruins the moment, no? Like BB King said, the thrill was gone with her.

I got lucky and found love again and we’ve been going strong for 18 years now. I still probably dream about my ex maybe once a year.

Emotions are powerful stuff.

Off topic: Today is my twelfth anniversary. I have been married one year longer than with my ex.
