So what, then is the “real” deal with the British tabloid-press bile (against Joe Biden) about Afghanistan? I’ve always thought an unspoken subtext about the Brexit mess was the Leavers thought TFG would be more prone to cut them sweetheart trade deals. - probably through some monetary grift or other - but it seems (to say the least) counterproductive to better US - UK relations to flog “the President is a gaga drooler” memes. And over Afghanistan? WTF? They still pissed about Gandamak?

What I’ve been getting through various sources is that the Brits are pissed we actually left instead of lying about it and they weren’t ready because they thought we we going to punt it again like always. They refused to believe we were leaving because every previous attempt was bullshit, including Clownstick’s plan.

The Brits claim they cant trust us (to be untrustworthy) anymore.

BoJo called Biden to try to get the deadline extended again and he got a middle finger more or less.
