At least for rural voters, food and gasoline and utilities are the biggest items on the bill after rent. And that is what they vote.

Gov Abbott deregulated utilities to the point where people died when their heat shut off during a snowstorm. That’s not leadership. Again, voters never hold Republicans accountable for the screw ups — even when people die.
