GF is now obsessed with vinyl albums. I bought a couple for her for Xmas. They are more expensive today than back in the 70s and 80s.

You couldn’t talk her down? Tube amps with wooden knobs and burned-in power-cords are next.

The only way vinyl was better than modern tech was the album art.
