Nashville’s mayor had to resign after pleading guilty to felony theft, apparently she was also having an affair with her bodyguard, and that part of the investigation gave us this:

I don’t know the details of the affair, but obviously it was not smart. But what amazes me more than anything is that the guy took these pictures on a government issued phone. Why would anyone take nudes on an employer (government or not) issued phone? That’s just asking to get in trouble.

Just guessing, but I’d say stupidity is the reason.
