The Extreme Mohammed page is back on zombietime!

The backstory:

The Extreme Mohammed page has always generated fatwas and death threats. But 99.9% of the time, they are sent directly to me. A year or so ago, some sophisticated cyber-jihadist managed to trace the exact location of the building (in a different state) where the server hosting the Mohammed Image Archive was located. (It’s one of those nondescript “server farms” where hosting companies lease servers and then re-sell the space). Then this jihadist sent a violent threat to the supervisor of that building, unless they deleted my Extreme Mohammed directory. Well, that threat was forwarded up the chain of command, and well, the orders came back to me, from the hosting company’s supplier: Delete that directory, or find a different server for it. Period. So, I complied, and a helpful volunteer here at LGF offered to host that one page on their site. And thus for a year the Extreme Mohammed page was hosted “offsite” from zombietime, with a different URL.

So much for the backstory. But just a couple days ago, the volunteer’s site’s domain “expired” (guess they lost interest in it), and so I was back to square one. But, as things turn out, the original threat to the building has been forgotten or deemed ignorable, so I was allowed to re-open the directory. (It was an empty threat to begin with, but that’s a different story.) So, after a year in exile, and a week offline, Extreme Mohammed is back home at zombietime! Woo-hoo! Let the fatwas re-commence.
