She’s very close to Hatch, the source of it all! Except a lot of chile growing has moved to Mexico, because the pickers are more available. We share an aquifer with Carlos Slim, I think.

I worked with a photographer here in Columbus that had a little motel/bed’n’breakfast place in Cimarron. He said it was one of the most Northern adobe constructed places still standing in America. I remember some of the photos of the area. Stunning.

Don’t know if I can make it, but I would love to see that area.
