Oh yes, having everyone’s medical records (with the probable exception of President Obama’s medical records) in one Federally controlled data base does not bode well for the privacy rights of citizens.
My point was, however, that my privacy rights take second place to me and my mom’s staying alive.

realwest, the Federal Govt would decide the cost/benefit of each diagnosis and plan of treatment.

If there is no real benefit, according to a govt bureaucracy, there will be no treatment.
