I just returned from our college’s annual New Year dinner, and I’ve discovered my tolerance for alcohol has dropped significantly. Currently tipsy. Some additional application of brandy may ameliorate the situation. Or worsen it. Whatevs.

I am terribly sorry to hear that. My tolerance has never been very high due to my slight frame, and since I started on my epilepsy medications in 1995 has dropped even lower. I can commiserate with your predicament.
