New Orleans has taken down a statue of Confederate general P.G.T. Beauregard, the 3rd Confederate statue removed in 4 weeks

Nothing prevents people from putting that statue back up on private property. It has just been decided that the Confederacy and its heroes are not something to be revered or given tacit approval by public institutions.
