I have and I fully expect Maverick to do the same dance that Collins does because his wife is now working for said same administration. TBH, I expect the same from most Republicans until someone stands up and shows them the way… and if anyone does, I expect it to be Sasse or Murkowski (perhaps Flake), anyone else and I would extremely surprised.

I’m reserving judgement on my senator Ben Sasse. He put up quite the spirited rejection on Trump on his Facebook page and in op-eds around the state in newspapers. To his credit he stood up to voters here who booed and jeered him for his stance against Mr. Trump during the primaries.

As Senator Sasse holds a degree in history, it could be he sees where this is going.

I will wait to see if he is willing to put party before country. So far I am not convinced as I don’t even get automated replies to E-mail or responses to letters (I am on the Republican shred-before-reading list).
