I have encountered a lot more people who are totally anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist when it comes to economics, but terribly nationalist and even isolationist and xenophobic when it comes to social and immigration policy.

nationalist and socialist, hmmm, wonder if there is a designation for people who hold that combination of views…
