Precisely. Does anyone really believe Donald Trump has any understanding of how the government works? There’s a reason imo why his cabinet is full of former Congressmen. He goes with who he thinks will be the most slavishly loyal. He doesn’t see Congress as a coequal branch but rather there to do what he demands. Emphasis on demands. There’s nothing democratic about this man. His political role models are tyrants. He’s also profoundly stupid. He really has set the US back and made things easier for state and non state actors that don’t want the US leading on anything so maybe that’s why Greenwald co-signs on his bs.
