Okay, maybe I’m opening myself up for an avalanche of downdings, but what exactly led Hitchens to the presumption that because he finds a symbol offensive, he has the right to deface it? This seems like the sort of behavior I’d expect from the black brigades. And I think they’re jerks when the do it.

When it is a swastika, EVERYONE has a right to deface it, burn it, or defecate on it.
