Romney is counting on amnesia about how bad the credit crunch really was. The scary thing is this is a viable strategy because lot of people never really understood it to begin with. Add to that the confusion on differences between bankruptcy under chapters 7 and 11 and this is what you get, Romney rewriting history to take credit for everything good that came out of the auto bailout.
