This statement is misleading “There is no indication whatsoever of any problem with the CRU data.”

CRU produces a whole suite of data bases. CRUTEM is one of many. My discussion was in regards to CRU TS 3.0 which Harris was tasked with to create a new version by Dec. 2009.

Except for the fact that the CRU Time Slice data base feed some data to CRUTEM, it’s not the same data base.

I have not done any research on CRUTEM.

You are deflecting to another subject.

I think the point that Obdi was making is that the data is inline with what it should be, and with other data sets, and thus presumably correct.

Since the original point was to show that programming errors was leading to incorrect data, this would seem to refute that point.
