Except most people are not saying “Force him off the air!” What is being said is “If you want our business, you’d better not associate with this guy.” Granted, this can be and often has been abused for ill means, but that doesn’t mean the idea itself is wrong.

Let’s replace Rush with something even more offensive. Should there be no backlash for sponsoring, say, a KKK rally or Neo-Nazis or Stalinists or something? And yes, I know the last one doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Oh, let’s be more effective.
