30% of voters are solid Trump, there is nothing he can do that will not just fuel their admiration and devotion. The rest of the electorate, I believe, can be reached by sound policies, candidates and arguments.

Our goal should be to reach the reachable, and then create a system that nibbles away at reducing that 27%, by them dying off, and having a society that works for all. That makes them irrelevant.
