I keep hearing how cheap birth control pills are at Walmart and if women can’t afford that something must be wrong with them. The discounted drugs at Walmart are generics. I am not sure,but from what I can remember birth control pills are not generics. They also vary by drug maker and individual type as to the cost. There are not just one or two types or brands. There is a list on Web MD that has at least 50 and I am underestimating that. I see no generic names there. I ran a few of those names through the WalMart pharmacy website to see if the qualified for the cheap prices and none of them did because they had no generic equivalent.

This irks the crap out of me. I’ve heard it half a dozen times this morning on TV and several more on the radio. It’s also insurance companies,NOT the taxpayer that pays for this. And,btw where the hell are the drug and insurance companies on this? It would be nice to hear them say something FFS.

God this annoys the snot out of me.
