Don’t have to go all that far, wiping the PC, I think. Try a program called Spybot Search & Destroy, it’s free. I’ve been using it for years, with great success.

Also, go into add/remove programs in your control panel, and remove all the crap that’s in there that might be causing the problem (like SuperSearch toolbars and crap like that…I just made the name up, but there are hundreds of them out there that hijack your searches like that).

Also, try this search term (if you can find a PC that allows you to search)
“google yahoo searches redirecting”

Also, Firefox3 with an addon called NoScript, and this will never happen to you again. Noscript doesn’t allow any scripts to be run unless you allow them. What is happening, I think, is that there is a piece of malware running a script on your site.
