Considering that most countries draw their borders based on lands conquered and captured from the vanquished, yes. Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza in 1967 - vanquishing the Egyptians and Jordanians who occupied those lands since 1948 when they failed to eradicate Israel. The 1948 line was itself an armistice, and Israel’s official borders with Egypt were set in place under the Camp David Accords except as it related to Gaza. A deal with Jordan didn’t involve land for peace.

In Israel’s case, the eventual borders are likely to be on the grounds that differ from those drawn in pretty much every other instance in history.
