I have one daughter, she will graduate from HS this year.
I never thought I’d say this - but I am ready for her to leave home.
I love her with all my heart, and my life would be over if anything happened to her.
But it’s simply time for her to go.

You’re handling this rather gracefully. Just do me a favor - don’t get upset if the kid seems eager to move on. My mother refused to call me for two weeks after I left for college because I accidentally offended her on moving weekend, saying that I was okay and she could go home with Dad.
