I know a bunch of American conservatives who are great people … as long as you keep them off of US politics. Funny, smart, generous and full of empathy — and then, “Barry is a scumbag slum lord!” “Hillary should be in jail!”

Sadly, it does seem like more and more of life is getting politicized these days (at least in the US).
