What I’ve never understood about any of this, is that Republicans really have no reason to be loyal to Trump. The vast majority of the Trump base would end up voting for whoever the GOP nominee was. Trump’s not a life long Republican, he wasn’t a big donor, and he’s not done anything to help any Republican get elected (other than himself).

So why the fuck do they remain loyal to him?

Because they can do what they wanted while they had the majorities in Congress.

They use Trump. He is a useful fool.

I think someone once said they need a Republican president that can easily sign his name.

Trump is great for that.
