T-Mobile will send to your phone “Scam Likely” in the Caller ID tag if they think the caller has been listed in some database that they query before the call gets to you.

T-Mobile is not a landline provider.

Scammers like to spoof your area code and first 3 digits (what used to be called the “exchange”) to trick seniors into thinking the call is from a neighbor. It makes no sense on a cell phone. I don’t even answer those calls.
