MrBWS is on the phone right now with one of his old-time biker buds and the Bible is exactly the discussion they are having and I felt compelled to break into the conversation to point out that the King James Version of the Bible was a scam to keep the peons under control.

Think King James is Trump and get the Evangelicals to do a Bible translation with Books picked and chosen to elevate King James to almost God-level and his Word is Law, so sit down, shut up, and die quietly.

Yes, that is how it happened and that “unerring Word of God” is a freaking joke.

Oh I remember the Pulpit Pimps who turned my family into Jesusbots would argue with me that the King James Version was the inerrant word of Gawd.

My stock reply was AND still is, “You’re sure right. That book of fairly tales is IN ERROR. in lots of ways!”
