Of course Biden as president would be infinitely better than any Republican, and he has my vote in the general if he’s the nominee.

However, his administration would be 4 to 8 years of trying for small-ball reforms of a status quo that is totally unsustainable, all the while facing just as severe and unified opposition from Republicans and the media as if he were trying for a communist seizure of the means of production.

True, but unless the Democrats win control of the Senate AND abolish or radically reform the filibuster (which many Senators don’t seem inclined to do) that will be the case for any Democratic President. I don’t like it, but that is what we are probably looking at.
