they have made it clear that is is all “thugs” (as in niCLANGs) and Antifas, so yeah, open fire, show dominance.

That is my worst fear at this point. We’ve already seen how free cops feel to shoot people in the head or vital organs with rubber bullets and bean bag rounds.
