Have any of these people actually met an 8th grader?

These are people who don’t want their children to learn about the horrors of slavery — torture, rape, murder. They don’t want their children to learn about Jim Crow or discrimination. They don’t want their children to learn the reality of our history, only whitewashed fantasies.
