Yes, I do have to say… while people shouting about fluouridating water are held up as archetypal John Birchers, it’s always struck me that if you tried to do a similar plan today, everyone would freak out. “We’re going to dump enormous amounts of a chemical into everyone’s drinking water, in order to attempt specifically targeting that chemical to peoples’ teeth.”
