Investigating and actually making the facts of the investigation public will most likely cause moderate Republicans to turn on Big Donny. As you said, he isn’t going to gain in popularity, but he sure can gain more detractors.

Trump now has less cover. It is going to cost him.

- i’d say yes, as long as they focus more on the campaign and 2016 election and process.
- while he likely broke lots of laws his whole life, - and i want to see him called out and prosecuted for all of it - a lot of his electorate would likely say - that’s way in the past and so i dont care

- it’s gonna be much harder to wave away ‘illegitimacy’ if actual collusion/conspiracy/whatever the term is and fingers on the scale of the election process itself are proven
