As another LDS lizard, I have to say you put that well. Beck can be over the top. That’s why I rarely listen to him. He is for personal freedom and responsibility and would never flirt with fascist ideas. As for Ron Paul, he was amazingly hard on the guy the two interviews I did hear. Since his time slot comes up against Rush here in Vegas, I listen to Rush when I can.

Since I grew up in the Church I am very familiar with Ezra Taft Benson. It came as a surprise to me that he was so political before joining the leadership of the Church. You would never hear him mention politics.
