Or, you know, that Picasso in Chicago - why don’t we paint it so it looks more like a real bird? Maybe add some color to Guernica - it’s so stark in black and white! Maybe tweak Mona Lisa’s smile, so it finally is either a smile or a frown?

Seriously, though - if another artist wants to do a take on an original, to change its meaning, I kind of feel like that second artist should make the whole thing, not just dick around with someone else’s work.

You talked about the public having a different interpretation. I don’t think very many people who see pictures of the bull think it represents the resilience of the market. I didn’t even know that was what it was for. It has always represented the aggressive nature of the market, and that you should be wary of being in front of it. So, to me, the girl actually fits.
