I don’t get it but the pull of Glenn Beck is more than many people can resist.

Simple, really

Two things at play here

#1) there’s a reason Americas Funniest Videos TV show and The National Inquirer have lasted so long. “We” like to see sensationalism and train wrecks, as long as they’re OTHER peoples

#2) Behind all the bombast and hyperbole and showmanship, there’s a glimmer of connection to what Beck is saying when all the BS is stripped away. ACORN IS a corrupt entity. The core message of the Tea Party (too much out of control spending too fast, gov’t expansion, elected officials treating their constituents as a necessay inconvenience, etc) resonates.
