In many cases lead is used because use of other heavy metals is banned because laws banning sale of armor-piercing rounds for handguns to civilians.

Look, I’m not an ammo expert, but it took me about 3 seconds on Google to find a bunch of non-lead containing hunting ammo. Care to explain why hunters can’t just use those?
