I just have a complete lack of understanding of these people. I mean, if you don’t use empirical observation and testing to determine what is and isn’t true, and if you deny the results from it when you don’t like them, how do you know ANYTHING?

I don’t get it. I never will get it.

This isn’t just confirmation bias. This is outright denial of and rebellion against one of the best things to come out of the Western Civilization that they claim to hold so dear.

I hear from Believers trying to argue me out of atheism that ‘If you don’t believe in something, you’ll believe anything!’, but really, it seems quite the reverse - If you believe in one thing against all evidence, you’ll believe anything despite all evidence.
