It’s meant to be a conversation-ender. It’s a quotable figure plus a set with vague parameters (not covered “enough? wouldn’t it take just a bit more time to exclude the ones that were front page) and impressions (the admin feels weren’t covered enough)—how much coverage is enough?

This is bullshit. Catchy bullshit that can be thrown at people who are skeptical, putting the burden of time and effort to debunk on them…and that long teasing-out process of determining what it all means is lengethy, rigorous, and lacks pizzazz.
