We went and looked at dogs today. We found a young (18 months old) Rotweiller at the Oakland Animal Shelter. He’s 85 lbs and seems to be very smart but not sure on house broken. Working hard already on that! I don’t think he’s used to inland heat, he hasn’t stopped panting at 120BPM and it’s only 88F. He saw himself in a mirror for the first time, and looked behind it for the dog. He likes all the toys my last dog ignored, but has no interest in dog treats, not even the bacon strips. I have a broken Milk Bonz and a broken up bacon strip littering my carpet now.
