The trouble is that only you can look out for yourself. Nobody else is going to do it for you. Convincing other people to change how they treat others is an uphill battle, because a good lot people are scum and could care less about anyone but themelves. The simplest way to get results is to empower the people who care the most, not to rant at the ones who can get away with exploiting them.
