From an article on Yahoo on Romney getting blasted for politicizing the tragedy:

A senior Romney aide, who declined to be named, dismissed the idea that the Republican candidate had been damaged by his response to the attacks in Libya and Egypt. The aide insisted to Yahoo News that the election would likely come down to an “overall referendum” on Obama’s performance in office—including on foreign policy and the economy. “‘Are you better off than you were four years ago?’ is the question that will determine the election,” the Romney aide said.

Is this the aide that thought putting Clint Eastwood on prime-time was a good idea? Or the one that thought praising Bill Clinton before his speech was a good idea? Or the one who thought releasing Romney’s angry “response” to Obama’s speech…..before Obama had even finished the speech….was a good idea? Or maybe it was the aide who suggested picking Paul Ryan as his running-mate and shifting the focus of the race from the economy and Obamacare, to Medicare and Social Security?

WORST. CAMPAIGN. EVER.

(I also find it funny that this guy is out there saying there was nothing wrong with Romney’s reaction, and that it wouldn’t be damaging…..but isn’t willing to put his name on it. Even this aide doesn’t want to associate his name with statements this stupid.)
