I agree - I don’t have a problem with this, either. If the situation developed as stated in the excerpt above, it seems like a completely appropriate escalation of force.
I’m just kind of puzzled why some people seem to be so hell-bent on denying that the police caused the fire.
Because so many want to turn that simple incendiary gas hardware fact into a “deliberately burned him down” instead of what it was. An attempt to get him to surrender. Or force him from the cabin. That “deliberate’ is just a damn lie.
