low wage workers are treated horribly in this country(and especially by the right-wing media). They work their asses off, sometimes working 60 hrs a week and multiple jobs. Many of them don’t get any vacation time or health care benefits. And after all that half the country spits in their face by calling them takers.

Compare that to low-wage workers in European countries. It doesn’t matter what your job is, if you work you are entitled paid holiday time. In Britain it’s a month. I’ve lived in Britain and I know some low-wage workers. When I lived in the UK I was one. They have good lives. They live within their means. They socialize at pubs; they take holidays on the continent. They aren’t dehumanized like workers are here.

Just try to imagine what it would be like to work and work and work and never ever getting holiday time. Think you would be stressed out? And we wonder why their is so much random violence in American cities. There is a definite link.

I related this to a conservative I know. And you know what he said? “So what, if they don’t like it why don’t they get a better job.” I actually wanted to punch him in the face. The right wing has no empathy. They revel in dehumanizing what they consider “takers”. And the ironic thing is, a lot of the low-wage workers vote republican.
