None of my current cameras save in RAW format, however I have a huge number of photos I need to manage, both for work and for personal purposes.

I just got an email notifying me that the full version of Lightroom 5 is available for the next 3 hours for $72.99—should I go for it or not?

Lightroom is pretty good, though the workflow is not to my personal liking. However, if you download it for the free trial and like it, go for it. I suggest you take a peek before buying. I happen to use Picasa which is free. Then i use Photoshop CC for conversion and post.
